Due to Covid restrictions we are not able to distribute ashes in the usual manner. This year our young people have prepared a small package which contains ashes, instructions on how to administer them and a Lenten prayer. These will be blessed at our 10am Mass on Ash Wednesday and can be collected from a steward in St Clare’s Church between 11am and 6.30pm or Holy Cross between 12 & 1pm on the day. There is one package per household. The ashes can then be placed on the foreheads of all members in a household in a safe and spiritual way. A big thank you to all our youth ministry team for organising this lovely gift.
